In January 2017, I wrote a blog post entitled “Learning to be okay with being an okay teacher: from a teacher with anxiety” to share my struggles with anxiety and mild depression and how it affects me in the classroom.

I started the hashtag #okayteacher after coming forward about my anxiety and feeling guilty about not being the teacher you may aspire to be on social media. When ordering mint: I recommend black, black silver glitter (dark gray), or black glitter. White is readable, but sometimes difficult, as the mint is pretty light.
