I announced on Instagram a couple weeks ago that starting in February 2016, I will not be blog designing. I haven’t decided if this is temporary or permanent. As much as I love designing, it’s becoming a chore nowadays. I’m busy with teaching, coaching, getting my masters, and being a wife. Teaching is my priority and over the last year and half, it has started to take a backseat, and that is not what I want. I also make hardly anything. I spend hours and hours on designs and at $50 each, lets just say it is way less than minimum wage. I also have felt I’m expected to drop everything I’m doing to work on designs. I’ve had a half dozen designs not be completed because of failure to communicate, and I now have to do them over my holidays when I would much rather be spending time with my family. I just need a break, or I will go crazy. I also need this time to reevaluate my prices, because if I resume designing, there will be a price change.
Extremely difficult decision, but I need a break. #lpaulldesignsforall
